Mark began his diving career in New Zealand many many years ago (yes he’s a Kiwi), but seems to prefer the warmer topical waters as the years pass by. A Master Instructor & Instructor Trainer, with ratings with PADI, DSAT Tec Rec, DAN, EFR, TDI and IANTD, he is popular with the airlines, spending as nearly as much time in the air and he spends underwater. Looking for dive travel advice, or the ultimate dive site – Mark’s your man.
CEO of an Technical Entertainment Industry Company for nearly two decades, he stepped away in 2003 turning his focused fulltime to the other great passion in his life scuba diving –spending 10 months circumnavigating the coast of Australia, exploring dive sites on a daily basis – before jetting off on a two year long world dive tour. Since then his full time involvement in the Dive Industry has taken him from Cape Town to Cuba, Malta to Mexico, the Great Lakes to the Bahamas, at last count he had dived in over 100 countries.
His experience spans from mixed gas open circuit to rebreathers, commercial diving and when he’s not diving, he can be found at the helm as a commercial vessel master.
A qualified explosives technician, he counts factory certified Rebreather technician and Kirby Morgan commercial dive service technician among his many skills.

With a strong passion for business, Mark is an avid collector of Single Malt Whiskey and definite gourmand. He has lent his skills as Board member and Chair to a number of NGOs in both New Zealand and Australia over the years.
