Bubbles Bubbles Bubbles.

No not those kind! Travel Bubbles.

With the NZ-AU travel bubble kicking off tomorrow, it’s time to start thinking about dive travel again. We’ve been in touch with our ‘Expedition’ newsletter customers in recent weeks and months as we progressively roll out our Expedition Travel once again, in line with the development of travel bubbles for our Australian customers, and geographic specific options for those customers based outside Australia, who can’t visit us here, but are still able to travel Covid safe by Air or Vessel to some of our amazing Expedition locations internationally.

Right, back to the New Zealand Bubble…

Prior to the announcement of the bubble date, Jereon Jongejans (from our good friends at Dive! Tutukaka) was interviewed here in a piece in the NZ Herald – which discusses the Pros and Cons for New Zealander tourism, with an expected rush to Australia by Kiwi tourists and Australians heading to the Ski Fields in New Zealand. Kate and JJ from Dive! Tutkaka have been regulars on local TV in New Zealand during the past year.

Let us make a point – winter diving in the Poor Knights is a unique and fantastic experience, albeit you will need your 7mm or a Drysuit for those use to the more temperate waters of the Great Barrier Reef. So come on – get out there and support the Dive Industry on both sides of the Tasman.

The team have put together some special mid-winter LUX ‘dive and dine’ trips to NZ, which will include both North and South Island locations, 10 and 21 day itineraries. Talk to the team if you’d like us to design something individual for you.

If you’ve not being diving for a while, then we recommend looking at DAN’s great piece on return to diving.
