In Stock means just that! It really is in stock.

We have recently had several phone calls from customers ringing to ask if an item showing as in stock on our website was actually in stock, as they’d tried to order from multiple online stores elsewhere who were showing as stock ‘available’ only to be told there would be delays, in one case four weeks or that it was simply out of stock, despite showing otherwise.

They were surprised when they ordered their item from us, to have it dispatched that day. That shouldn’t be the exception …that should be the norm.

As a small family owned Dive Company, we are only as good as our products and service. Simple.

So what do those stock notes mean in real terms:

In Stock – means just that, we have the item in our warehouse here in Port Douglas. Depending on when your order is received, it will likely be dispatched SAME DAY. We dispatch well over 98% of orders received by midday, that day.

On Back Order – means more stock is on the way, and is likely to arrive in the next week or so. You can pre-order stock by contacting the team.

Out of Stock – we either don’t have any stock on the way, or don’t have a confirmed date for its arrival from our manufacturer. If you need something tagged ‘out of stock’ talk to the team and we’ll give you a real world answer on delivery time.

Of course there are special order items, or items that are assembled to order, these are ordered to demand, or assembled from parts in stock when you order, so might take a day or two longer. We clearly mark these listings, and will indicate a delivery time.

We are all human – on the odd occasion our stock count might be wrong, or orders might arrive from difference sources at the same time (phone vs web vs in person) and we might get caught out. But we’ll put it right, and do everything in our power to get your order to you quickly and keep you informed.
